New Rector Appointed

After successfully completing an eleven year term, Father Darrn Connall has been re-assigned by Bishop Blase Cupich.  Bishop Cupich has appointed Father Steve Dublinksi to be the new Rector of Bishop White Seminary effective July 1, 2011.  Father Dublinski comes to this position with a significant amount of pastoral and administrative experience having served as a pastor and Vicar Genral for the Diocese of Spokane.   Fr. Dublinksi will also serve as Director of Seminarians for the diocese and retain his positon as Vicar General.

Father Connall has been assigned to be the new Rector of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes effective July 1, 2011.  He will also retain his position as Vocation Director for the Diocese of Spokane.  Fr. Connall commented, "I am grateful for the opportunity to have served in the work of priestly formation for so many years.  I look forward now with excitment to the pastoral ministry which awaits me at the Cathedral".   Fr. Connall is the longest serving Rector of Bishop White and oversaw the construction of the new seminary building during his tenure.
