Advent Gala and Semester’s End
The first semester of the 2010-2011 at Gonzaga concluded this past week, and the seminarians of Bishop White can look forward to several weeks Christmas vacation. The spring semester will being January 11th, with the annual seminary retreat following that Saturday (see news update).
On Thursday December 9, the seminary held its annual Advent Gala in joyful anticipation of the Christmas season. Bishop Blase Cupich celebrated Mass in the chapel. He was joined by Bishop William Skylstad and eleven priests, all of whom are involved in seminary formation. A social, dinner and gift exchange followed. Also in attendance were several other friends and supporters of formation at Bishop White.
